Well, here it is with a *da ta da dummmm!* Background! I'm actually pretty pleased with this one, from start to finish. As my first photoshop art with a quasi-decent background, I don't think it's too bad. He looks bad*** and his boots are my fav! (aside from the flame background, which will only be my fav until the honeymoon period of, "Hey, I did a background!" wears off)

Nathan Explosion is from the series "Metalocalypse," (c) Brendan Small. I'm just a fan, trying stuff out!

LOL- I like corresponding with you back & forth about life & art! I appreciate having a good friend like you 'round here because it keeps me thinking in the back of my head that I should finish up pieces I've been planning and/or started!

Nathan is too logical for a lead singer . When he fails Pickles seems to pick up the bill... Skwisgaar's always disappointed with people's actions no matter what happens, and I give him props for that!

Thank you, thank you! I am really glad you enjoy it, and thank you so very much for fav-ing it!! I am way behind in figuring out backgrounds, and I just did this on a whim, and it worked, so I went with it. Someday I hope to do as well at them as you. Thank you!

I like the background goe's with the character very well. The flames kind of remind me of a paint job you might see on car.

Um, yeah, about that? The flames? My Dad taught me, and I grew up with him customizing cars (one of his is my avatar) and the whole slew of friends and colleagues doing the same. I always loved it, and I can remember him painstakingly taping out flames on his '48 Ford. So, yeah. Technically they do belong on a car! I'm glad you like the background... It was a spur of the moment decision and I just went with it.

Thats cool you come from that sort of background, customizing cars sounds fun. I kind of wondered why you had a car as your avatar.

It is pretty cool. I certainly helps you appreciate the work that goes into them. I don't think I quite did his flames justice, but that gives me an idea for a new project...
