Hello i'm not from darkDemon forum.
You don't need a tablet to draw on opencanvas, you can you your mouse but it's clearly more difficult.
The first version of opencanvas is free but it is really limited. Opencanvas is a good drawing software and it's ship. The last version i bought cost 80 dallars with full functionnality. The light version cost 60 dollars.
