A little request for BurkeontheSly.Samus Aran and a Chozo, as if they were living it up on the Sistine Chapel ceiling.
I like drawing drawings that are, like, two things at once.

Great concept and astounding execution. The linework and colors are both incredible.
I am surprised however that no one has mentioned yet that if you wanted to be true to the original painting, Samus should have been naked...

I'm absolutely blown away, here. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This looks fantastic! The poses, the expressions, the little metroid cherubs, everything. Did I mention the expressions? You've raised the bar with this one, man.

I'm still having issues with how my drawings look in DA's new smaller 1600-pixel wide fullview... they look a little blurry. I guess some of that is to be expected, but when i look at other artists' work, theirs looks better.
I wonder if my canvas sizes are too big? Even though there's no real point, i make everything so huge that it COULD be printed out in near poster size. I wonder if that's wise.
I dunno, i might make some adjustments to it over the following days. But overall, it looks pretty cool.

Canvas size could well be an issue. Shrinking always costs resolution, and DA's shrinking algorithm is far from perfect.
Out of curiosity, what changes are you thinking of making?

Ah, you know, just darkening a bit here, lightening a bit here, making it look a tad bit more painty.
I just uploaded the new version... i think it looks better, but i saved the old version just in case.
