More phantom of the opera fanart. This time we have Erik perched upon the angel statue thing from the musical...at least I assume it's from the musical, since it is pictured on the back of the booklet for the original cast soundtrack. Basically I saw the picture and I thought 'hey...Erik would look really cool in a batman-esque pose on top of that thing'. And thus this picture was born.

Erik's clothing is based on his first scene in the movie, even though his mask is more Leroux style and the angel statue is from the musical. I know the statue looks a little odd- I had issues drawing their mouths and eventually just said "screw it" and left most of their faces mouth-less. -_-; I also edited certain parts of the statue out because I did not want to have to enter this as mature. If you've seen the original statue, you'll know what I'm talking about (Hint: the two demonic looking figures on either side with their hands on certain...apendages...).

I love the way the phantom came out. Especially the glowiness. ^_^

Recently discovered the "diffuse glow" filter. Much fun. *grin*
