This was done for DC Universe online.... not sure how it was used, or if it was used, I was pretty happy with the way it came out though, so might as well show it.

I found this on google once and had no idea it was on dA! YES! Sweet mother of creation yes! I have seen tons of Deathstroke images, in and out of the comics, and as a perfectionist I will shred any flaw (esp if it makes Slade look bad

Intense! Since you work in the biz, I have a question. I notice that they do not always update the look to some superheroes. Is that because they want fans from all ages to recognize the hero, and keep their old fans? I remember when swashbuckler boots were big with heroes, and now it is leather suits.

it's really 'fashion' when it's all said and done, so trends within that come and go... if you look at some of the superhero designs from the 70's, they were all DISCO'd out, and before that, they were modeled after wrestlers, and the movie and TV serial heroes of the time (pirates, Zorro, Musketeers, WW2 soldier gear.... now? it's the same, the 'cool gear' became motorcycle protective gear mixed with all the influence from Anime that came through in the 90's.
