I did this a looooooooooooong time ago... I'm not even sure what it was for, but I was always happy with the 'Brian Froudness' of it (very much on purpose)... all the designs I did for this were all kinda' 'mushed-in'... I am a HUUUGE fan of the Henson/Froud movies from the 80's , so it was really fun to work in those 'mental parameters'.I dusted off the drawing after a while and threw on some colors just for sh%#$ and giggles!
I guess this is kinda' sorta 'Steampunk', although steampunk wasn't even a 'genre' at the time I did this.

I can see the Froudness, but it does remind me of a warjack as well. Nice work!

I think "steampunk" as a word is being over used these days. I'd say it's more "industrial".

i can see the dragon and the worm and this "war golem" as part of the baddies in a side scrolling game adventure fantasy meets guns guns guns oh and the time fly could be the guide and occasionally giving hints

Lol yeah looking at this i could see it in the Labyrinth in the goblin kingdom fight. Very nice. I love Froud's work also and the bulkyness and cannon look like something he'd come up with.
