When trying to learn to draw something, I think it's far better to learn 'rules' about them which can be applied to draw them any way you like, rather than following one of those annoying step-by-step tutorials that only show you how to draw them in 1 particular pose
I couldn't find any such things for Ulquiorra, so I noted down the main observations I made (as well as the common mistakes) while I tried to learn to draw him. I hope this can be useful
The hardest part I found was his horn- it looks different in every picture I swear 
Just go with the flow I guess 
[The ones with grey circles I copied from the manga in order to learn the proportions of everything (never trace). I then tried drawing him from new angles using references. Eventually I could draw the one on the far right without any refs at all.
I like to 'memorise' my favourite characters so I can draw them off by heart whenever I like- do other people do this too?
]Why do I keep hopping between fandoms? xD Upon reading [link] I was struck with the urge to draw Ulquiorra, my favourite character from Bleach. He has such a lovely design! His personality was so cold, but he died when he was just beginning to understand

I was going to make an animation of him 'tis why i needed it. I don't really like the last form either. xD
I wish he didn't have to die. He was just beginning to understand emotion. ;O;

I knowww after all that character development and everything Tubo killed him >m< I still live in hope that he will return.. some way to bring hollows back, since they're dead anyway.. or maybe he never actually died and something trapped his soul? IDK but I can't stop hoping xD

And yes, it was going to be an animation of Ulquiorra transforming into the other two forms for people to put in signatures, I just have a hard time with his face. xD AND THE HAIR. AKSJKSD. And his eyes.

in your DevID, the chin should be pointier, the face shouldn't be so long, the hair should stick out more at the sides, in the release on the right there should be a second 'horn' visible behind the head [link]
hm in most of them the face should be wider and pointier (more like a heart or triangle shape than an oblong)
if there's one in particular, I could do a red line for you.

hi you ! i'm re-reading Bleach from the beginning and i just noticed one thing, i think you made a mistake, ulquiorra has black eyelids see here : [link]
but i think i've seen him with white eyelids too so...

I'm pretty sure that's not an eyelid, it's just his empty eye socket where his eye used to be

btw kubo himself seems to change him a bit in the same chapter (when he first appears he has short short hair and then they're longer) so don't mind it

This was quite informative! Thank you! I attempted to make his helmet for a cosplay, and learned that it changes shape throughout the manga in a most annoying fashion. I just stuck with the most recent design, since I figure it's closest to what Kubo wants. (and despite Kubo's killing him off we have to respect the frickin' creator)

Glad to be of assistance Yes I know it's so frustrating, I think I've finally mastered the horn for a few pages and then it comes up again an entirely different angle and length D8< I think I'll go with the lumpier version because it looks more like real bone, and is more interesting. (grrr Kubo why do you always destroy your best characters leaving us with boring all-good heros and undeveloped sidekicks?

I was wondering, did you wear a wig or did you spray/gel your hair to make is stick up the right way?

I have a wig. This way I was able to secure the helmet to the inside of the wig, and you can't see where it's attached. I actually have a very similar haircut to Ulquiorra (now that I think of it I actually asked the stylist to model it on the WIG), but it would have looked bad if I'd tried to tie it to my head. It only takes a little got2b on the tips, though- the wig itself is pretty accurate and it's not a difficult hairstyle.
