I miss Raven, I miss the Teen Titans, and I miss my time spent here on dA.
There are some awesome people here, and here's a drawing just for you guys. I wish it were better, but I needed to draw something, and Raven popped onto the page.

i like the effect of lightening the shadows under her hood, slightly exposing her face more than normal. it looks like someone is doing on purpose to get a better look at her

Thanks. I tried not to overdo it with my sketchiness. I have a tendency to put down dozens of lines before slimming it down into a definite shape.
Colors are always an experiment, and I'm happy you like how they came out.

This is a very beautiful painting. I really like the subtle colors and how her cloak blends and flows into the background. Very nice work!

My coloring is very rusty, so that's a huge compliment! 
The blending was originally an accident, but it just looked too good to undo. I was pleasantly surprised with the product.

This is so cute! You are missed, too. And I really like this pic, Raven's expression, the lighting, it almost looks like she's standing by the roadside or something, and someone has pulled up, their headlights illuminating her, and she has this expression, like... "I knew you'd find me.... but i'd hoped you wouldn't."

I completely understand. I look at the comment I made two years ago about exams, and everything just became a whirlwind after that! No time to relax, and sadly, no inspiration to pop stuff up here.
That's a really nifty idea. I'm happy I can even convey that much emotion, especially with my subject here. The funny part is that the dark background happened by accident. I meant to make the background darker, but accidentally darkened my shadows layer. Due to that she ended up somewhat blending into the background instead. I was pleasantly surprised, but my coloring still needs work. I'm rusty.
Work and life can be a bummer sometimes. I really do hope we can find some time to chat, even if it's through these comments. I definitely wish you luck with everything, and hope it all turns out well...
