*shrug* Random Pokèmon cuteness. I'm not a Mewtwo/Mew-shipper, though, so don't read anything into this.

Pretty good drawing. Actuelly technically speaking, Mew is Mewtwo's parent so this makes a good bit of sense. In the games its implied as that so I think it makes sense. Anyway if you take it that way, this makes sense because Mewtwo would just be snuggling with his parent. Anyway great drawing!

I was searching for Mew and Mewtwo art on dA when I found this, and I was like "DUDE, I recognize that avatar!" So heya, DM, it's me, Psychic! ^-^
The picture's absolutely aborible. They're just so cute together - and you know I'm not a supporter of their shipping! XD I just love the calm, content look on both their faces, and how they're snuggling so cutely. Personally, I find his skin a bit too purple, but meh, Mewtwo's seen a fair few colour schemes.
I have to admit, though; I originally clicked this picture because of a striking resemblance it had to a Mewtwo x Psychic pic my friend drew for me. You'll see it listen in my Favourites. Yeah, I was annoyed at her because she hadn't given you any credit, and Mewtwo's head is just...well, anyhow I bugged her, so now she's linking to your picture. :3

I don't mind interpretations - I just didn't want people to think this was intended as a romantic picture. XD You're right, though, it does kinda seem maternal.
I still don't understand how it would be physically possible for Mew, who's about one foot tall, to give birth to Mewtwo, who's over six feet tall. O_o Even as a baby, he'd be HUGE compared to Mew. Oh well. I guess I'm applying logic where it probably shouldn't be applied. XD

Actually, I think they became friends at the end of the first movie - or at least, they formed a truce and came to respect one another. Once Mewtwo realized that he was wrong to want to destroy humankind and their partner Pokèmon, he and Mew no longer had any reason to fight each other.

Mewtwo never was evil, he just dislikes humans for trying to capture him so much.

Actually, since Mew isn't a unique Pokemon (meaning, as far as we know it's an entire species, more than one), there's no reason to assume that the Mew from the movie is the same Mew that Mewtwo was cloned from. They might not be related at all.
Unless you go by the games, of course. What I'd like to know is... how did something as small as Mew give birth to something as big as Mewtwo? Ow. O_o
