Your work is entirely admirable. I wonder if you'd consider joining watercolorists
as your work would serve to inspire our members.

nice piece. Reminds me of Doc Rickett's lab on Cannery Row.

Hello there,
I'm new on deviantart. So I don't know how some things work in here.
I See you are into the watercolour technic. Do you use traditional watercolour, or do you use photoshop with a special brush? Can you tell me what you're using? I would appreciate it. Thank you very much.
I like your work The colours are very intense.
Have a nice day.
Goodbye,
Bonny

Well done! I really like the water blossoming on the file cabinets, as well as the highlights on the magnifying glass (gouche?). And of course the character's wry expression is perfect.

As soon as I saw the title, I thought of Stephen. And I agree with GeniusBee; I would like to see your interpretation of Jack and Stephen!

It's so nice to see a real talent in drawing as traditional art, especially created for the likes of Patrick O'Brian!

Haha I was wondering about that! Love the books, and the feel of this is certainly representative of them! You should draw Aubrey and Maturin sometime! I love seeing people's interpretations of them C:
Great work!
