It's Steve again! Held onto this one for a while before deciding to post it. Quite a challenge to paint since I'm inexperienced with cars and full body poses plus perspective

Some background info about Steve... He's my OC from my novel, a Light in the Pinhole. He's a popular actor who is dorky and kinda shy in public, but charming on camera and also with people close to him. Despite being a superstar he has low self-esteem, and perks up like a child receiving a gold star when complimented from someone he admires.

SNIPPET FROM MY NOVEL:
    “Well…it was nice knowing you,” Steve says, flashing one last bitter smile at me.

    Is this how I will remember him? A gentle, misunderstood soul who died pitifully at the paws of a bear.   The furry beast stomps at the ground and charges towards us like a bull that’s seen red.

    Death doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t care how many merits you’ve delivered to the world or how many victims have fallen from your hand. Whether you sleep in a gilded bed or on linoleum tiles, he pays the same visit to all his clients for worldly riches cannot be taken to the afterlife and therefore possesses no value. To the thirsty collector, there is no monetary value worth more than a soul.

    I’ve seen that stance before. One foot forward, his dominant hand clenched protectively in front of his chest with the other trailing behind his hips as if it was holding something, but there’s nothing in his grip. He’s a superhero stripped of his powers. There’s no safety net, no animal trainer, no ambulance on standby. He has a battle with reality and I worry he might not get to watch the replay.

    “At least now I know I’ll be a tree in the most beautiful park in the land.” Steve laughs before diving for a pile of rocks on the side.

  I shut my eyes to avoid seeing him torn apart. It can’t end like this.
