I'm not back, don't get fooledCleaning my computer from some old works - this one has been lying around for some time now.
My personal take on the Flutter Ponies. I loved the concept of these fairy-winged animu donkeys
The toys were even better, so I relied more on the toy versions, than the show (especially with Honeysuckle).
These are the main 6 Flutterponies, but the toyline also had Cloud Puff, Hollywood (love the design!),
Pink Dreams, Tropical Breeze, Wind Drifter, Wingsong and Yum Yum. I may draw them someday in another throwback
to the past generations. Maybe. Perhaps. Don't quote me on that.
Speaking of...I JUST discovered the info about g5 redesign leaks (good timing, I'm only one year late on the news :v )
Anyone know if this has been confirmed? Any thoughts?
I've been so out of FiM stuff since season 5 or 6. I know, shame on me. SHAME.

I always loved the Flutter Ponies the most. XD I loved the way you made their wings look different and unique. I wasn't too crazy of the canon design and ended up redesigning the wings myself.

Yeah, the canon Ponies back in the days were pretty sloppy (except for the pilot and the movie specials, bigger budget I guess), the toy designs were much better, but all in all the concepts and ideas behind the Ponies were lovely
It's an awesome feeling for me to actually redesign some of the old Ponies in my head, after all this time I still remember their personalities and how I saw them as a kid.

They all look pretty, but something about Rosedust's pose and outfit totally pulls all my attention towards her^^
I often thought of the flutters as the ponies versions of fairies, you totally nailed that feeling with the way you designed their wings
