No lies... waiting for the resolution of the cliffhanger at the end of The Son Of NeptuneΒ during a trying time in my life kept me from doing something I wouldn't be here to regret. Β I couldn't see that some of the best days of my life were just around the corner.

(Very very VERY late -n-) Thank you, Rick, for making such a compelling, believable, awesome story. It made me laugh, cry, and it made me think. This was my favorite series of all time, and you are my favorite author.The characters are amazing, and their POVs are so believable. I love these books, along with the Kane Chronicles and Percy Jackson.

My classmates at school don't understand my concession with these awesome guys. There my second family. They made me cry, laugh.....just like a family. When ever my life does feel like a swim in the river Styx, I would sometimes picture these guys.....and they would cheer me up.
