This is why I love your works. It captures movement and momentum like no one else. Even a static pose is given a vibrant, dynamic sense of action through the lovely brush work and lyrical form of the character. Saturated colours such as the blue and gold help to create isolated areas of interest while the more muted whites create rest areas, helping to create a piece that is well balanced. Finally, the character design is very well done, the Arabic inspired garb and clothing matches the exotic theme of a peacock and compliments the elegance of the line work.
The back feathers are nicely toned down, while other artists would have made this the focal point. By doing so, we become more interested in the character rather than any particular feature, giving us , the viewers, a clear image rather than it being convoluted. Detail and texture is captured very effectively with individual marks as well as broad strokes capturing the feeling of silk, gold and feathers. It creates this immersive look that breathes life to a character.
Overall, another fantastic piece of work by one of my favourite artists on this site!
