Those of you that have read the book The Vampire Lestat know that Nicolas was put into Eleni’s care by Lestat. In the book Nicolas’ madness drives him to kill himself by going into the fire. Even though it is not written in the book I always imagined that Nicolas and Eleni to have a very close relationship… maybe even more than friendship.
