Well, the reason I prefer Blaze is because she is a lot more badass and a lot more interesting. Sonic is boring, and always has the same consistent characteristics with no interesting background, role, or attitude. He's just a blue guy who smiles and is credited as being the hero,but that's literally just about all there is to him haha!

I must be reading too many fanfictions because they always portray the characters differently, which sort of changes my perspective of them (even if it isn't canon). That's... bad, I guess.

Maybe him being boring is the reason he's so different in fan fictions? I can understand that. I'm going to give Sonic a more interesting role than usual for mine; there's no way I'd even consider using Sonic if he weren't the main character of the franchise.

I'm gonna do something... interesting with pretty much every character in Sonic Outbreak. I find them too boring in the games but as for the Archie Comics, they are hell of a lot better. They actually have personality and character in the comics.
