I never actually knew how smooth SFM can render images. And the lighting... my god, I love the way I lit the scene. And, no, your eyes aren't deceiving you, the flames have hints of purple.Made with Source Filmmaker (SFM) and edited in Photoshop CS2.

This is great! The fire came out beautifully

Posing and fire - Maybe not even twenty minutes.
Lighting - It took me two hoursΒ to get the lighting done right.
Editing in Photoshop - ONE HOUR to get the colour balance right and edit the flames a little bit to make it look brighter.
Yeah, with 3D software, the characters are not very hard to pose. It's just getting the lighting done right that is the problem.
