Description Taken near my home today, the water canal leads to the small lake in the middle of deep woods, maybe one day I will take you there...

At some point in time, there was probably a railway running under this bridge - but that`s nearly a century ago now. Now it is forgotten in the middle of the woods and slowly breaking down.

I like this. It's very pretty in a creepy sort of way. I like the way it looks to just go on and on.

hehe well, nature is taking everything back left by humans
the power of nature is impressive, to grow even in this sort of places^^

Yes, it only needs a couple of years and things are already returning back to 'normal'. In our country, there are some places of chemical catastrophes or similar things - but the most obvious example is Chernobyl power plant - humans who walks into the forest there is practically dead. But animals are living there without a problem, there is not even an elevated rate of mutations, now THAT is incredible...

This place has been 'only' damaged for about 70 years by coal mining.

i see, and yeah, animals getting used to it alot better, and mutation might still exist, but the cant survive so u dont notice them, for humans u notice it at once... but actually we fall for it alot easier than animals, especially bugs can handle it pretty well, they dont care even a bit

I guess it depends on complexity of DNA for example, and you are of course right that 'mutated' animals are probably going to die and so only strong ones will mate and so on... But if you imagine people in their place, the perspective is not longer so bright. Of course, there are reports about villages around the power plant, where people do live, because they refused to evacuate - but who knows for sure...

well yeah ofc the humans die to, but when a human is born as a mutant it will be all in the news, its us who maks it "popular" in a away
and yeah, as I always say, the more complex somethin is, the more it can break or not work at all in the first place^^...

*looks at the PC and OS currently running on it* Yeah, tell me about it XD Simplest solution is usually the best, but to be honest, I am now so used to solving complex programming problems, that I even can`t go to buy some food without at least 4 backup plans and main plan so complex (to avoid all the possible hiccups) than it would took me 30 minutes to get the shopping done, while I could just go to nearest shop and be done in 5 minutes. Some things should never get to you, but they simply do...

yeah, but i didnt mean it that way, even tho u can see it there too^^ more I ment, when we´re done with our planet, sophisticated being or not, none of our inventions can stop it, and as long as there is still sun and air, there will e live left,... and it will not be us
