Did I make it on time? ><I never enter contests, but the theme for this one really appealed to me. XD I've just finished school, and what I want to do in the future has been on my mind a lot lately. Unfortunately it never was and still isn't really clear to me what I really want to do... >_>
This piece is probably more metaphorical and really describes an emotion rather than a situation. When you say 'What are your dreams?' this is my feeling. Something soft, a bit blurry and undefined, fragile, blossoming, but nevertheless, something above and beyond the suffocating depths.
There are so many things I wanted to convey here, personal as well as things I thought would be universal. I really couldn't tell you exactly what they are so you could say it's open to interpretation xD
This drawing may seem a bit confusing. Like my aspirations xP. Colourful, mixed up, and not quite straight-forward..... Standing at the edge of the beginning is really exciting xD

Beautiful! I love how there's a big contrast between the top and bottom of the drawing, and how the ocean fits in to maake them work together.

I can't even say how much I love this. The colours are so pretty and bright and then the girl...I just can't say what I feel right now. It just makes me want to be in the water and swim for ever.

There's something about the red string coming from the girl that really draws me in. Is this what "movement" in a piece is?
It was really interesting to see where the string would lead... I never would have imagined that it would become the tree! So amazing.
