Edit:Moved to scraps because I put up a newer and better version of the picture.I needed to paint again.
Not the best painting I've made, but it was only meant for being a quick practice picture anyway, just for fun.
Yep, messed up the hair. Felt almost impossible to do it right. And the colours.
This is Machiri, a character from the first book I wrote, the one that ended up all crappy, but then turned into the events leading up to the events in the book I am currently writing. Currently supposed to be writing. So. Hope you like it.
The only character in my stories from that world who dyes her hair - because really firey red hair isn't good for NOT sticking out in a crowd.

A really natural looking portrait. I think that this is wonderful! Her hair actually looks quite naturally shaped but the pinky highlights make it a little flat and plastic looking. You could have made more use of that green/blue lighting colour. I really think you should work on this a little more, it could be even more beautiful. Maybe make her body a little larger and her right shoulder extend out a little further. Also maybe extend the canvas because the crop is a little tight and the right side is a little blank.

It's luckily larger originally, and I still have a layered, uncropped version of this one. I couldn't get the crop right, so I just kept cropping it. I agree, the pink highlights in the hair are ugly.
Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely keep it in mind, and I think I will work more on it... I didn't exactly have massive amounts of inspiration when I finished it
