I must say you have a great sense of style, no overkill but you get the point across..

I'm looking at your website - consistency .. I'm waiting for winter in a way - I have more of an excuse to sit back, experiment and learn. I have always like under-statement depends on the subject but bright and vivid is good at times, but the use of colors is an art and you right look (?) to the sites...That one is hard to explain but is one that a person can't learn, maybe to degree but the rest has to come from inside..so natural style. Great work across the board..

It was built in the middle of winter!

I guess winter is the perfect season then - I enjoy summer but then there is this conflict that I want to work on the computer and then the sun is out, nice day and then - I'm not really relaxed in spare-time since I want to enjoy the summer, so winter brings a certain lack of stress. In other words - I don't feel guilty about not being outside )

My schedule changes in the summer months and I do more work at night than I do during the day. The joys of freelancing.

Ditto - I have no set hours and really never have. The I can't say worst situation since I work best under extreme stress, it's the little things that really annoy me..well I was working for Corporation - major project and I'm on an NDA, I can't talk anything specific about the project - well, There was a presentation that had to be made and the old one was poorly done....so I had to drive, photograph, rescan the images that had so many jpg artifacts - it looked bad, so I scanned at high DPI - read 500MB images and did the rest of the work in a vector program and typeset and then off to print - in total I put in almost 60+ hours straight to get this done. I enjoyed it.....I'm at peace and work well under pressure but now - it's summer and thats low pressure and it does start to get to me..I want to go out and enjoy yet I want to work on my little side projects. Now Winter - complete peace, I actually look forward to real bad weather (arctic blasts and extreme cold spells) so I can seclude my-self and I no pressure..I go out and do things in the winter but it's not the same as summer..now I put my self in my own mess..I bought this art table (hardwood) and paid next to nothing..it looks OK, but a total refinish would make it look great - ahh, summer work..I've (hate the word) downsized my work area to a 10x10 room and am moving things here and there to have fast access (another job-organize) and in truth - this is moving really slow vs my old setup - Main comp room for total disaster was about 1800sq feet and my organized Comp room was large also, so...just maybe a wrong decision but I like messing with things!! So I thought that maybe nice small area might be better on the creative end..and it is in one way, but it's a matter of the right cabinets etc and hiding all stuff I don't want to see - (Wires) etc..It's a personal thing in work areas but this decision I think might be in back-fire mode..so I have to reconsider - and years ago, strange - I'm a very patient person but can get a little hyper but enjoyed running wire and doing the construction..oh well, I'm still looking for the balance of relaxation and dedication (a must) but you need both or you suffer in both ends. In short - bring on Winter!! Take it easy - enjoy the summer and (wait until winter)..!

This is pretty awesome, clean! At first I looked at it and thought "It's nice and bright but that means there must be some contrast issues..." but you proved me wrong. Everything is clear and I applaud you.

Yeah... when I saw the actual thumbnail I thought the same thing.
Thanks for the well thought out comment.

I had a look at the live version, the layout is great but the left hand menu fades feel clunky and slow. If they were faster and smoother it would be much better (though it might just be this PC!). Still, *claps*

just wait until the next update! Won't change the look much, but have ideas for some major section revamps. Mainly the applications area though.
