I Have been waiting till new MacPros were released till I got one. New ones were released today. Must have must have must have XD. Time to put the 3.06GHz iMac up on ebay. It served me well. Still suite's my needs great except for hard drive space. I need at least 2TB for all my digital images, Music, and Home Movies. the 500GB in my iMac isn't enough >.> (and i don't really like externals)

two monitors = more screen real estate. having two monitors at 1680 x 1050 is like having one monitor at 3360 x 1050.
Desktop machine for while I am in the office, and laptop for while I am out of the office.

OMG! So many MAC standing next to each other! This is way too cool!!! Why samsung monitor though? I have always believed that Sonic has the best monitor.

well you might complain more when you hear that I upgraded my MacPro to 6gb RAM recently.
There are two other Mac's in the house that are not in the picture as well, my wife has a MacBook, and there is an older iMac (the ones with the color plastic casings, we have a purple one) in the garage.

Well, I guess that's the difference between a poor student on loan and a professional! I dream to have a 6gb RAM pc. I'll actually be happy with a 4 GB... Or at least 2GB...
Hmm... Well, My house has 4 computers: mine is already the newest, one pent4 that's dying, a laptop that weights like 9 lbs that's slower than a turtle whose wireless internet is so messed up that it can't go online, oh, best for last, a nice nice nice pentium 2...

Honestly, it wasn't that long ago that I was in your position. Probably the turn of the century, while I was in college, and just after graduation.
You just make due with what you have, until you have what you REALLY want.

After college graduation, we have to pay back the loan and find a job. It's not ganrantee that we can find one. Unless we make a part time freelance job, right?
I NEED a new pc that's for sure. I can't even draw much on that pc. and then a nice intuos <3

wow that is the first time I have ever seen a tower version of a macintosh computer...ever! I have seen the ones where the monitor and the hard drive are together, but thats it. Lots of computers

Yeah, there are 5 Apple computers in the house, 1 PC, an iPhone and an iPod. With storage space for about 3tb.

Well... yeah, at some point I intend on using most of that space. At least the 2tb I have on the workspace you saw. I do nightly back-ups of about 50 sites that I hold locally, just in case the server back-ups fail. I typically only keep those for 30 days though so it's always revolving. Been building sites, and doing graphic design for the better part of the last 15 years... I know it only takes a few massive projects to take up several gb's of space.

used one of those desks while I was in college... was great for then as I could stand up and do layout work.
but i moved a bunch after college... once a year for 4 years, and it didn't survive on the last move.
