This is a draft of what I would be designing for ProjectPOW's challenge 5. It's inspired by Apollo, and he's the "god" of music, so I decided to be inspired by rock music, so she has a leather cape covered in paillettes. I told myself I wasn't going to do a gown...but here she is! It's an empire waisted chiffon masterpiece. There is fur, sequins, and paillettes on the shoulder...since he has an bow and arrow, I thought he would shoot stuff, so it's like an animal on her shoulder, and there are unusual straps. There's a piece of sheer elastic between the bust.Related content

Actually I disagree with the ones above, this could definitely be rock, if you add some contrast to it. Something rougher maybe, studs or something. The leather is definitely a nice touch. And I'm loving the light colour you're using, and the empire waist 
And by the way, those details over her shoulder are adoring

The dress is absolutely gorgeous! 
But like others have said, it is a bit too pretty and delicate for the "Rock God" theme. Butch it up a bit and it'll be perfect!

This is very very very pretty! but I think if you want "rock" you don't want it to look so pretty... does that make sense? like make it really really edgy of something? I dunno I'm rambling! love it, but I don't see a really defined connection between your inspiration and the result.

i agree with maddie, it is a bit oo calm...BUT it's lovely, and mature and very subdued. look at some good rock designs to get some inspiration. try to use rock cuts and pieces but this colour if u like this colour ^^

I like the "rock god" direction you're thinking about taking, but the dress seems far too demure to go along with it (although it is quite pretty).
The cape would be more rock god if it wasn't completely covered in paillettes. Use them sparingly! Or heck, go for studs.
