Nice work! some questions:
-top light is the paper I presuum
-you have one main colour for the skin, like copic E33 etc.
-then You have the shadows with some darker and more red brown? which ?
- and in the bottom the shadow is done by gray? C3?
I have problems to find working tones for shadows. Using of only grays doesnt seem to work... I would be gratefull of any hints!

WOW!!! THIS is the level of marker rendering I want to achieve!!! I know that my answer can not be answered in one short dialogue box but HOW do I even get there? I've never seen markers used SO well before! I just LOVE how you confidently and bold capture likenesses!! My marker works ([link] ) look so fickle and over-worked. No one that I know in Los Angeles teaches marker rendering (that I know of). Everything has gone digital now and the only sources I can find are the following old books:

AND...

Will you ever teach in Los Angeles?

Is this Al Pacino's character "Tony Montana" in "Scarface"? Great drawing, I love the scribble on the edges... nice concept!
