When she got to the studio she was greeted by the network executive.
“So, how was it?” he asked
“How was what?”
“The renew sex.”
“We… I… I didn’t have renew sex with the guy.”
“Well what ever you did worked. Cultures was picked up for another season. Congratulations Claira, you’re moving up in the world of television with this show.” She went to the set.
“Where you been Claira?” Jane asked. Jane was the director of the show and Claira’s best friend she was blond, smart, and friendly. She was the face of show, a position she doesn’t want to give up.
“I’ve just, you know, got caught up in traffic.”
“Oh, what did you come on?”
“Um, 76.”
“Yeah I heard that’s like a parking lot right now.”
“You’re telling me.” They started shooting the show and when it was done, they were leaving the studio.
“Hold up, Claira!” Jane yelled to Claira
“Yeah, what is it?”
“I forgot to tell you, tomorrow there is a premiere and BBC wants one of us there to promote the show and I was thinking it would be me.”
“Yeah, sure.” Claira said through a forced smile.
“Great! I’ll see you later Claira.”
“Ok, bye.” Claira was tired of Jane hogging the spot light. She was the reason the show is still alive, why should Jane get the publicity? She went home angry and tired.
