This is a college assignment... Designing an object to a letterform. This one is a Balinese Barong. Well, its a cultural dance, very aesthetic, and that's why i chose the Barong as the object. The object must related to the history and the daily facts of it.

In the History, Balinese Barong ([link] )) is a guardian of Balinese children. One day, his enemy, Rangda ([link] ) going to abduct the children, then the Barong triumph against her, and saved the children. What i relate with the letter form is that using a bold lines as to indicate domination for the victory. I used bold letters also as to give more visual readability to viewers.

The checker pattern is an additionally value for the design, it also refer to the Balinese pattern clothes.

NB: done in illustrator, this one watermarked not for any copycatting purposes sorry...
