Description First part

[Part 2]
[Part 3]

==============================

Ah, it took me a while to finish it.
Actually I wanted to make a tutorial a long time ago but due to my laziness, I haven't made anything until now xD.
Also, I'm not so confident in instructing drawing or writing a tutorial

Btw, this is mostly for anyone interested in drawing Elsword characters. I tried to mimic the style which is used in the official artworks and wrote it here, so I think it's quite close to KOG artworks'.
However, it's also my current style now, but I change it a bit every time I draw a new picture of course I used this style when drawing Cross xD
And since I color my artworks on SAI most of the time, this tut is for SAI users xDDD
But I always write something long and detailed, so this may be tedious And since it's long, I have to split this tutorial into 3 parts xD

Because this is the first time I make a tutorial, I'm not sure if my writing is clear enough. So, if there is anything confusing you, feel free to ask.

Note: Though this tutorial uses Chung as an example, the coloring style can be used on any Elsword's characters with a little adjustment xD. In other words, this is a general tutorial.

No, since I don't think lineart need a tutorial. If I want to make a lineart tutorial, I have to go back to proportion and sketch, and I'm not really good explaining the process. You know, a good proportion will give base for good lineart.

Well, it's ok. Normally I always do lineart when I have a rough or detailed sketch. It help guide my lines better xD

About straight line, I can make a pretty straight one with my hand and tablet. But when I want to make a real straight line and to save my time, I switch the layer mode to vector mode to make it easier.Β

I don't like manga studio much since it's quite hard to use xD

Well, I don't have any tip. I just observe and take some as references and then practice from time to time to get used to the style xDΒ

ClairSH In reply to HiroTheKohai [2013-07-24 20:29:38 +0000 UTC]

It's the same as Chung and the others. There are two tones of black in his hair, so just pick them, and do the same way as this
