There were three llama in a field, so we called them but first they didn't want to come

The easiest ways to tell is by the ears and the size...
Llamas are quite a bit bigger than alpacas and have bent, banana-shaped ears where alpacas have smaller, straighter ears.
They're kind of cousins within the animal kingdom...
