Exactly! I think the spirit of Star Wars is clearly represented, and there is that great hint to the quest for a balance in the Force...so I can easily get over some silly/disturbing things there do exist π

I know right? It was just really beautiful and just the perfect way to end his story. I NEED to go and watch it again-- it was just too amazing to process all at once. Star Wars hype is basically just running my life right now as well-- oops.

It just felt so right! I loved the way it portrayed Luke. Just like in the very beginning, he's still learning and he's still fighting. And got to complete one more lesson before it was over. He passed flawlessly β€οΈΒ

Exactly! It was such a graceful passing-the-baton sort of moment from the old to the new, and all the visual symbolism just made it so satisfying to see. I really liked how they even allude to the whole "looking at the horizon" bit within the film, so when we see the end, we are doubly reminded of the beginnings.
