Here we have the JAP version of Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik(who I think looks way better), and his US design. The two are the exact same fat guy we love, both are smart, evil, and silly. While they are basically the same scientist, I prefer the JAP design because the US design looks dull and bland, just an opinion though.Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik belongs to SEGA/Sonic Team

Yeah I like the JAP design better than the American design. Not to mention the American design in the box arts looks creepy with those eyes that make look like he doesn't have any eyes

Eggman never really said anything (unless you mean the modern one, which he really fails at his "jokes", all he does is fails then gets mad, makes a fool of himself and when things get bad he teams up with Sonic).. and no the Japanese Robotnik is more like a rival to Sonic, and hey thats not even a joke, it even says it so many times.

Yeah, it's funny because "American" Robotnik owns the Death EGG. Notice the word "egg", American Robotnik the "badass" still used the word egg in his machines.

LSF judges too much about the JAP version. He's suppose to be a scientist, ofcourse he'll have gloves and glasses. The US version of Robotnik looks unfinished, incomplete, and boring while the JAP version looks like it has some personality in it.

As much as I like SatAM. IMO That show is the reason why SOA purists think Robotnik was always a heartless evil tyrant. I'm serious. And they think Robotnik sounds "more threatening" and Eggman is a stupid name. The name "Robotnik" doesn't sound threatening to me.

I like the name Robotnik, but really Eggman and Robotnik are the same guy. Atleast Sonic Team was nice enough to keep the name Robotnik(but also keep Eggman), SOA purists should be thankful they kept some American concepts like the chillidogs or Sonic's attitude.

Not to mention that he uses the word "Egg" in alot of his machines and fortresses. Examples: The Death Egg, Eggrobo, Egg Carrier, Egg Emperor, Egg Hawk, Egg Albatross, Egg Dragoon, Egg Genesis, Eggmobile/Eggpod/Egg-O-Matic, Sleeping Egg Zone, Crystal Egg zone, etc.
