Resistance Is Futile. All Will Be Assimilated.
I bet those F40's feel lonely.

I did think that the low angle made it look like an "attack" was looming.

EMD made those as well?

Actually they are F40PHMs according to the Metra roster ... made by EMD in the old LaGrange plant in 1991-2.

Quite a sight I'm sure. Round here they tend to keep people well away from the depots, so it's hard to get a shot like this one.
Also, the link you provided to "Snaking Out" appears to be broken. All it links to is http:// and nothing else. I'm sure there was meant to be something more on that link than just that...

Thanks CJ. And here also places like this tend to be behind high fences. This is an exception.
Fixed the link.

What happened to all the MP36's that run the BNSF line?

There aren't that many. There was one off to the side that was out of the frame created by the signals and one out on a Scoot while I was here.

Hmmm, that's strange. I visited this same yard about 3 years ago, and all I could see were MP36's and a couple of winnebagos. I guess these trains get shuffled around more than one might expect.

They're coming for you. They know what you did.
I've never seen anything like this before, were it was just one type of locomotive.
