Have you considered doing a version with a hair rendering technique rather than the usual block hair? Would be interesting... maybe even a REALLY tiny fuzzy fur coat too? I wish I had the ability to do these.

I would, but that would definitely not print well. Actually...I don't think that would print at all. Polygon-comprised objects are the only thing that the 3D printer can handle.
Also I have no idea how to do either of those things. :I

Mostly I just meant to see how it looks on the model, not as a print... surely you can afford to make something you CAN'T sell once in a while? I know 3DS Max has a fairly simple hair tool (Even I could use it with no modelling ability at all), but that's one program.

Oh, well sure, if I got a chance to I could probably find some tutorials on it and experiment. I've used Max's hair tool before, but I have no idea how to style it into a shape I want, so that would require some research.

Aww, don't be so hard on yourself, it was adorable, even if it was sketchy. :3 The hardest part was just getting their faces to lines up against each other without overlapping in 3D space.
I'll be sure to show you when they've been printed out as figures. ^^
