Here we have a chart featuring a member of each of the three genre of snout leapers. Print this off and hang it up in a biology classroom somewhere to keep the legacy of the rhinogrades alive! Or not, it really doesn't affect me. I'll be making a chart for the pillar-nosed snouters next. Also, I'm very happy with how this turned out. The snouter in the middle is unable to eat the prey it catches. It is symbiotic with a species of column snouter that can eat prey but can't catch it.

In one of my fan-fics, Casper & Wendy found snouters in Dr. Ottermoel's zoo of Unnatural History in Domdaniel School, in the Black Forest *. T&hey recognized some were sentient and very unhappy about their being held there. Freeing them earned Casper a new enemy 
The Snouters now live in Canada, but Wendy ensorceled things so you can't find it.
* Don't bother looking for it unless you know Widdershins Point where the Coach with the Six Insides must go widdershins 3 times around a tree to suddenly find the road that goes over Pontecheval Bridge to Domdaniel. Ignore wols and orms.

You could really fool people with these as they are so realistically done. These Snout Leapers are like a cross between a kangaroo rat and a Bandicoot. I love things like this

It could be a cool practical joke to put a printed version of this on an elementary school, alongside similar printed versions of "normal" animals, and see how long it takes them to realize these are ficticious XD
