Holy cats - amazing on so many levels. That line work - was it from your original sketch? With the symbols and whatnot it has an almost mythological look to it.

I worked on and off on this one for about 4 months. Much longer than it should have taken, but sometimes life gets in the way. Thanks for your interest!

Thanks to you for sharing your gift with us! Yeah, life does sometimes get in the way, but that`s just what life does. Without the ups and downs we would only have half the inspiration!

Very, very cool looking.
I especially love all of the details in this- the rocket coming off of the skull on the hare's flank is a very badass touch. The ears are looking really awesome as well!

Wow, I really like this! And the story that goes with it made me giggle. The whole thing is very nice. Totally deserving of a DD.

Was there any artist (other than Aesop) who inspired this? I love your style!

Thanks for you interest in my work. I'm going through a "fairy tale" phase right now. I've taken inspiration for a variety of sources including Aesop. I'm also constantly follow a the work of a few friends of mine: Beth Stichter and Chris Riccardo. They aren't on deviant, but you should look them up if you like my work.

Poor tortoise...
First I thought it was wood, with all this beautiful markings and patterns. As I also do ceramic (not very good, the colours don't become beautiful most time...), I really look up to you. This piece is just wow.
