Interfector Concept

This is a quick speed paint of a character concept I came up with for a game I'm planning on creating in the coming year. This isn't the final concept, more the result of some brain storming sketches I did up. This one was my favorite, and I liked the overall design.

The Interfector is a stage 2 zombie in my game, Eclipse. After contracting the virus, a human will become a walking carrier for the alien gestating within it. The human is transformed into what could be seen as a walking weapon to protect the unborn vertebrate growing within. When killed, the upper area of the Interfector's body explodes, and five or so smaller creatures emerge to attack.
