Description

Null-44, also known as Null Prime or just "Sun" by outsiders, is the central star of the Null system which every planet in the system orbits, it is a relatively small low mass star with a blueish hue leading to many scientists from outside the system theorizing that it could once be a red dwarf that has almost extinguished its hydrogen reserves making it glow hotter.

It is surrounded by a Dyson Swarm made up of millions of large solar collecting satellites, with each being a square kilometer in area. The swarm is co-built by the Null System Federation and Savernia after they started rebuilding their civilization as a sign of friendship and co-operation between the old enemies. It collects energy from the star and wirelessly transmit it to all 4 nations though Power Receiving stations located on the surface of each planet and space stations providing majority of the power to the inhabitants of the Null system.

The Dyson Swarm satellites can change formations and are also equipped with gravity manipulation and tractor technologies allowing them to siphon off small portions of the star to be used as raw materials for industry in a process called Star lifting. They can also redirect plasma from the star in high speeds to generate thrust and allows the Null System to move and relocate allowing it to function as a Stellar Engine. The swarm can also be a Nicoll-Dyson Laser  and redirect plasma and star matter into a powerful beam capable of vaporizing a planet-sized object millions of light years away, but that function is classified and are only known to the highest ranking members of the Sentinel Accords.
