Description
It's almost Christmas so it is easy to find toys in supermarket. I wanted to buy cool TNMT goodies but they are ...well toys. So today I did a quick repaint on Mickey stealth Tech figure ( the only one I could find XD)it's only made with sharpies and 2-3 poscas so the rendering is not really precise but I prefere it this way ^^

I got my hands on Leo and Raph yesterday, and I am considering repainting them, so what sort of paint and tools would you recommend using?

well like i said, I did it with sharpies and poscas only XD... I think acrylic paint would be great though

well I think you can find posca in any art shop ( but you have to have art supply shops where you live^^) and there is still internet XD. aacrylic seems to be a good medium. but I would prepare the surface by cleaning it and maybe by adding a mat vernish to get the paint to stick on it.

We have paint/hobby shops yes.
I'll look it up online, see if there is any walkthroughs on repainting to tget the best results

I uses resin varnish called mster super clear for my repaints, I can only found them online ( its from hobby Japan, and doesn't come by plane, only by boat)

any tips for the repainting itself? what to start with how maybe layers of paint I should use, what to use for light and shading?

really, for this I don't know, I just go without thinking with the tools I have nearby XD. I guee you have to let express your artistic sens.
I did another repaint ( donatello) i'm going to post it when it is finished, it is far more complicated and I did it with acrylic paint.
