I had this left over lineart in my hard drive for a few months. I finally decided to colour it.I drew Piccolo because I always liked the character. Especially when I was a kid. I liked his composure and the fact he didn't show at the first look how powerfull he was.
I think he deserves more interrest than only yaoi parrings with gohan ( which I really really disapprove, he is like a 2nd father to gohan in my opinion , not a lover.)

There is really nothing I flat-out do not like about this picture. You have so many "rights" going for you it's hard to keep up with them. The background is chaotic, the smoke adds elements of mystery, suspense, and plain bad-assery. The texture of his skin is incredibly alien, down to the unprotected muscle (that's what they are, right?) patches that cover his arms. Even his face has a very Piccolo-esque grimace and frown on it.
But this wouldn't be a critique without something negative, so after enough scanning I did find something that didn't match up entirely. I'm not sure if he's walking or standing still. I believe from the way his hands are positioned and the way his chest is entirely forward-facing that he is standing still, but his left leg seems to be put out forward. He also appears (very slightly) hunched, which gives the appearance of motion. Then again, he could just be looking downwards.
Aside from this very minor aspect, it's a pretty flawless victory in my books. You managed to portray the character in a way so justified the creators would be jealous. Good job!

In fact I didn't try to make him move. I tried to make him leaning just a little bit on one foot to give him variety and make that he doesn't look too rigid. Seems like I failed 
I'l like to have more advices on the colouring thought, there is something bothering me on the lights but I can't put my finger on it. Does it look constrased enough? ( I mean the shadows and the lights)

This is another posture issue, I believe. The thing to look at here is how the right side of his head is alluminated, along with the right side of his frame. He would literally have to be turned to some degree for the light to be able to hit there. There is also a gleam on the upper-left "muscle patch" which does not have any other corresponding gleams.
And, for good measure, I would like you to take what I say with a grain of salt. I am not an artistic individual, so what I say really could be entirely fabricated as I'm trying to find things wrong.

yeah i dont really agree with the yaoi pairing with gohan either. Β He can be with anyone else, guy or lady. in fact im working on a dramantic-romantic fan fiction about him and my o.c.Β

I agree with you on the Picolo/Gohan, they're more like father and son (particulary with Goku never being here) . Besides, do people forget than there are no male and female among nameks? Technically, Piccolo is asexual!

I'm in love with Piccolo! Like if he was real, he would be MINE. Haha. Piccolo is my favorite! How could you not like him? He IS Gohan's second father and Goku thanks him more than anything for caring and training his son. And on top of it all, he was born evil with emotions and unlike most other people, he takes people in for consideration. He doesn't just say your wrong with out second guessing HIMSELF that HE might actually be wrong. Like training with King Kai for example. He didn't understand why they were all running around chasing a monkey and a grasshopper. And by the way haha, This is a beautiful artwork. He is beautiful in here. ^.^
