Description
I had this left over lineart in my hard drive for a few months. I finally decided to colour it.I drew Piccolo because I always liked the character. Especially when I was a kid. I liked his composure and the fact he didn't show at the first look how powerfull he was.
I think he deserves more interrest than only yaoi parrings with gohan ( which I really really disapprove, he is like a 2nd father to gohan in my opinion , not a lover.)

I used to watch DBZ as a kid. This made me a little nostagic.
Piccolo was my favourite character.
As well as Vegeta.
This is a really awesome picture. DBZ's over the top style makes it very difficult to translate to even a slightly realistic style.
But I think you pulled it off.
Great background and atmosphere too.
The only flaw I can see is that his arms are a little too short.
The wrists should start at the bottom of the crotch and the fingers when extended occur somewhere mid-thigh.
Not that you'd have to worry about that last bit because he has his hands in fists.

First off, I just want to say, that I love your style version of Akira Toriyama's character. The contrast is beautiful. The details in Piccolo's skin in very nice, the veins and lines are very flowly.
The clothing shadow could be a little better, but the fog/mist mingles elegantly.
It looks awesome, I love Piccolo and this is gorgeous.

For my the best character in DBZ saga for all time, Piccolo was the badass of the group, some you have to respect and fear, never some yayoi bullshit, i agree with you he was like a Father for Gohan, and even a father more responsible than Goku, he is the best.

I would give you a critic, but I don't know how I would go about it. There are both good and bad things about this. I mean, I like it, and it looks good (it's your style of course, too). It looks like an Anime style, but with some realism splashed in there.
I'm a HUGE color and lighting freak. I think you did decent with the lighting, and the colors are okay too, (not a fan of bright colors XD, so you did good, I just don't like them).
I also like the smoke/fog coming up from the ground/floor. 
Anyways, I think you did a great job. I just really don't know how to critique, honestly. Mine always seem negative(instead of all OMG THAT'S AMAZING!) because it appears as if I always point out the things that need work, and the artist I critique sometimes gets offended. But hey, at least you know I'm not an A$$ kisser! Just being honest.
