I really love all the details you put in here. I also love the way you colored this piece. The expressions of Rin and Len are also drawn well, you captured the concept of them being lost kids just by their expressions! Everything is just well drawn..!

I can't even begin to imagine the amount of time it took. There is so much details and even the most common objets are well drawn. The walls, the windows and the cookies must have taken quite a lot of work to do. And I love how you managed to capture the concept of the gingerbread house, while making sure the house remains relatively normal looking. It think it makes it more realistic, like it could happen in real life, instead of being a fairy tale. It feels like something strait out of the Grimm stories, with a dark lesson behind the magical aspects.
I like the characters too. Len and Rin truly look like lost kids. Not just because of their clothes, but also because of their expression. They look so broken and lifeless. Truly sad. And yet, it's interesting how they don't seems to trust that witch. I like it. Speaking of Meiko, I can say that she is really look like a creep. I mean, Β creep factor is really over 9000 (that face). And yet, she still look normal enough to not run away on sight. She makes the best child kidnapper (man that sounded wrong). Someone mentioned it, did you choose her because of her incartion as Conchica (cannibal and all)? Also, it's probably me overthinking again, but the bottom tips of her crutches looks like bones. Probably my imagination, and yet I can't help but think it fit.
