I didn't actually use any effects in MMD because for some reason I can't figure out how to make them work... ( T ^ T )
What I did was color Miku and Len in Paint tool sai, adding lighting and shadowing over their layer. > w <

The emotions in this are great! I don't always see such well portrayed story telling in 3D model pictures. This really looks like a screen capture from a movie. Excellent Job!

Ah, the difficulties of having a relationship with someone from the other side. Funy enough, that's the kind of thing they never show in Romeo and Juliet
Still, you brought up an interesting idea. Prejudices do tend to stick around for a long time and it is hard to control all things someone says. I can definitely see that happening in their relationship. Drama at the horizon.
Thumps up for their look. The details are pretty amazing and their faces are quite expressive, particularly their eyes. From Miku's sad face to Len's desperate remorse and guilt. We really see the struggle they go throught. And the background is pretty cool too. You become better with those programs after every picture. Well done.

I know that being raised up on hatred for someone makes it difficult to spit out something entirely different. But the biggest mistake that those kinds of people can make is not trying to take it back in the name of peace. That's why we shouldn't be forcing those negative emotions on our youth.
