Yes, I'm stuck on SN8, basically because for some reason I convinced myself I ought to perfect that before moving on to the next Starship (even though that's literally the opposite of what I'd planned). As much as I enjoy animating the suborbital hops, with SpaceX now having 3 orbital launch attempts under their belt (and with IFT-3 being very nearly successful), it's probably time I started adapting to the changes that have been made (so, shrinking the flaps, making a booster, cleaning up the raceway, adding an umbilical port, shaping a heat shield, etc). So I probably won't be returning to Starship for a while, not as far as update images go. I'm hoping to be able to model the booster and all the adjustments to the ship pretty quickly, but I don't know how that'll go. This model took me..what, 3, 4 years?..to get rendered, and it doesn't even land, so. Not even done.

We'll see how the orbital stack goes. Anyway, I am actually happy with this! No smoke, but the Raptor exhausts look pretty decent!

Oh, yeah, and I guess I actually haven't updated you guys on Starship in a while, since I've been working mostly on Titanic. This video youtu.be/dLp2MEjDR_g?si=3_JoTy… explains what happened to the ship. I do need to return to that, but having lost the file completely has kind of put me off opening the Titanic file I do have.
