Just saw Green Lantern yesterday. It's not a good movie but it isn't bad either. Enjoyable but don't expect any calibre like the Dark Knight. I've never felt fan-girly in such a long time (I think the last time was with Sherlock Holmes-- who doesn't love RDJ?) which brought me to a rare mood of drawing fanart which I should do more often.Green Lantern is the first (and only so far) western comic I've ever read and, as you can tell, I have this weird fascination with Sinestro.
Some spoilers from the movie, of course.
Hector has a copy of Pokemon Sapphire on his desk in the movie.

LOL!!! Those last doodles 'bout Sinestro's speech to Jordan and his sudden turn to evil are so TRUE!! I agree with you about Green Lantern movie, not good, not bad, just.... uncomfortable XP

Love every bit of this! I just saw the movie and I actually enjoyed it, although it was extrmely questionable how Sinestro's giving that speech one minute, and taking the yellow ring the next , lol(although I had a total fan moment when I saw him in his Sinestro Corps uniform)!

Does he have the new Yellow lantern outfit on in the movie though? That'd be interesting to see. Wonder if any of the other lantern colours will feature.

Spoilers mainly there for people new to the series.
After the credits, you see Sinestro put the ring on and his suit changes to yellow. It was quite an "unf" scene as you watch him embrace his new found powers (if you're weird like me). I think there will be other lantern colours in the future (if there is a sequel...) since during the credits, there are flashes of individual colours.

Hurrr... Allright, so Rainbow fun commences in the next movie as a canon, huh? Well, it's current continuum atleast. We'll see how it goes. I'm curious. I might go and see it in 2D at some point

Hehe, it's not worth watching it in 3d since it's not used effectively. Watch it! 4 times! I want a sequel to happen!
