Assuming I get this done in time [which is sort of pushing it], I will put this in the show my school is doing during CCACA in Davi the first weekend of May.While I really really really wanted to raku her, I also really really dont want her to lose pieces. So instead I am thinking of staining her. I purchased a lot of feathers [like a shit ton] from Michael's that I plan to glue in around her in various places [I made holes to fit them into.] Also there are wild turkeys near my boyfriend's place so I may try finding feathers over there too.
I really really really hope she turns out well. She got loaded into the bisque last night, so she'll be ready to stain in a few days. I'll post more pictures as she evolves.

yes she is hollow inside. i started off by pinching a bit of a form mask for the face, and then coil building onto it to create the full head.

shes already fairly hollow. all of the horns are hollow. she survived bisque pretty well, with only one tiny ding. next week ill be able to post photos of the finished product. yay!
