Mass Effect 3 Custom paint job I did for a client. Features Thane on the right hand grab. This controller has no extra mods, only a paint job. I made custom vector decals and used spray paint to create all tones. White acrylic dots were added after spray paint (to the blue) to look like space.The midnight is tonight!

I live in the UK, so we don't have WalMart over here
But I'm going to assume its the standard acrylic-based stuff

All together, with a new controller mind you, would be about $120. The controller being about $40-50 of that amount as long as I can get one off eBay or something.

woo hoo! I have a blue ps3 controller that I've wanted customized for months. When i saw this controller i fainted x.x,, when i regained consciousness I knew then that I wanted a ME ps3 controller. Basically I want the same design as the one above but instead the thane decal, i'd prefer the spectre status decal. If you don't have the time i Understand

there are some tuts online :3 everyone does them differently...I make custom decals

Decals are basically super sticky stickers...and I make them by hand x3

but do they come off? cause sometime what I do is take controllers apart and I wash the outer shells so there's no more "muck" on the controller from your hands being sweaty XD

The decals aren't so sticky as to be permanent, but they are stickier than regular tape. And you'll want to prep it with rubbing alcohol to get off the hand oils. I cut out the shapes by hand from the decal paper is what I meant.

Well I one example I took a SEGA Genesis Controller. I took it apart and I used Hot Water, Soap and a Scrubby Sponge and I was them by hand.
Then I use a hair Dryer to dry them off.
