Description
In effort to round out a concept art portfolio I've made a sheet of 100 character thumbnail concepts. Some are decent, some are lame; I'll pick a couple of my favorites and render them in more detail.I'd also like to do a fan favorite, so let me know your fav and if it's the most popular, it'll join mine in the polishing room! 5th on the first row would be my fav. Some cool concepts there. Definitely be good to see some full size images of some of these.

I wanted to choose my fave, but then I concluded that I like too many and just can't decide... Let's say that 5th in a row 2nd from the bottom as it was the first one to catch my eye. I don't like huge bulky ones looking like robots but the rest is awesome, hard choice! You must've had plenty fun drawing this, haven't you?

i like:
1. row 2, 6 from the left (baseball cap guy)
2. row 4, 7 from the left (samurai-esque one)
this is really cool, by the way. makes me wanna do one of my own, but i know i have enough trouble making one character at a time who looks interesting. 100 would perhaps be a bit over-ambitious for me.

Had the exact same hurdle but the way they were created, that's not much of an issue. Start by just making a squiggly mess that indicates the general pose then you come back and refine to see what you can make of the squiggles. The mind naturally tries to make sense of chaos so just let it do the work for you.

3rd to last row, second to last character.. holding a spear and it looks like she (i think) is jumping?

Since her hair is flowing up, I'd say she is landing.
