Thanks, Woodswallow. What seems so easy when I look at it took a thousand shots, and just as many gentle touches in post-process. God knows how long I waited for the bird. Im glad you like it.

Such a beautiful animal.
I find it very astonishing, that colours, we would find very odd to see as clothes on one person, in nature seem to be so harmonic (probably absolutely hopeless english there, but...) I mean the pink flowers in the background, and the orange of the bird

A similar thought occurred to me too, when I reviewed the photograph, and then it struck me, that life's urge, so visible in spring, declares itself in tones that do not compromise. But then I thought, "I knew that pretty well in youth. Did I forget?" Today I'm wearing beige and faded olive green, and brown. I think I'll change into a floral shirt!

Well in fact there is something very warm on the earthly-colours you seem to like to wear. I also think, that this is absolutely fine and sort of represents (I am sorry in case this could sound like an insult) the ancient wisdom of seniority.
