Not to be too simple here, but Symbolism is the first thing i look for in a Deviation here on DeviantART.
Following logic, when i saw this i peeked into the symbolism of a tentacley, spear-tipped tooth having thing with many eyes and highlights or lights shining from inside of it i was kinda confused.
I thought of Fear, war, the unknown... But that might not be quite it. This certainly evoked a reaction in me, if not many others, but i would like to hear this from YOUR persepctive cos i'm just one guy.
well done, i especially like the oily sorta feel you gave the "Monster"

Appetite: it wants, it craves, but its gaze can't focus on any one desire. Its inability to focus, to secure some of what it craves at the expense of the other yearnings leaves it crazed and unfulfilled, like a more horrifying version of "The Monkey and the Peas".

To me, the title of a work can set the tone. And I definitely feel that this beast is a strong representation of an appetite. It has many eyes to see what it wants, many limbs to grasp it, and many teeth with which to devour it. It is the part of us that always wants more.
