Wonderful and strangely relaxing. Brings a certain "science" teacher from High School into mind...

Bringing some of my old school science teachers to mind, is the opposite of relaxing to me!!!
But I' much appreciate your comments and I am pleased you find that this poem relaxes you ...

Well, my teachers have always been a mixed bunch, but most of them have been good. My Swedish teacher let me borrow Plato's Republic (among other books) during my first year, for example, and he's one of the good teachers, but the science teachers are more mixed.

The first one we had was really good and generally nice, but the second one's more of a jerk that can only talk down to people, thus me finding it relaxing to read of a poem about alligators eating people - okay, she's not that terrible that she'd seriously deserve such a fate, but hey, humour, right?Β

I agree with you ...
I don't actually think any teacher is so terrible that they deserve being eaten by an alligator!!!
I've used my full allocation of 'poetic licence' here.

The truth is, that I got on pretty good with most of my teachers and actually went on to marry one (many years later of course, and not one that ever had the daunting task of trying to teach me when I was at school age).

It's always a good thing to get on well with your teachers, my poem id just a bit of light relief ...

Thanks for the great comment and for theΒ  Fave ...
A song rhythm is not intentional, but may well exist ...

To be honest, i read this mentally and the rhythm dawned there.
