It's basically depicting Silvergear coming to terms with her 'new body' after being forcefully mutated. Hence the tubes coming from her back and wrist.
The reason it seems so calm is because it's reflecting Silver's calm nature, which helps her to cope with change and negative emotions.
I chose a sky as a background because Silvergear has a fascination with flight. She can pilot hot air balloons, blimps, small planes and even artificial wings like the ones she made for herself.
